4.7,4.7,4.7...

7/2/2010

Sometimes its just always 4.7, day after day.  Yesterday was no wind and the SUP was fun and a nice change of pace but then it was time to rig the 4.7 again today.

They are going to be using all that old hair to help clean that big oil mess up.

Solid 4.7 wind filled in later on and there was a fun sandbar working better than expected.  I was just thinking it would be a good day to have some fun working on some other things since riding waves seemed to be a marginal thing with the size of the swell.  One trick ponies can get old so mixing it up helps to keep it interesting.  Every day is different and usually the conditions can lend itself to favor doing more of something.  Today seemed to be a clew first riding day.

Glad I was out of the water and totally safe before the kite kook went out.  I'm sure there was some where else he could have went out where the wind was steadier and nobody would have been in the way or in danger from his lack of judgement and skills.  He got easily munched by a wave that was too much for his skill and then his kite dropped from the sky and they got washed.

and then there's Mr. Naish.

Windsurfing was happening, again.

Another day of blasting wind at the rock.  Nathan showed up and had a very impressive wave riding style.  He was ripping it up on his Naish gear.
Whit was punching holes in the sky again.

3-2-1 blast off.  4.7 was early, 3.5 later on, and then it got really windy.
