Pistol River Shapes

Sad news today about Jeff Young's passing yesterday while windsurfing in the Gorge.  Jeff was one of the strongest sailors around and was always fun to sail with here in Pistol. RIP.  

Found a few rides out there today.      

It looked like it was 5.2 for a while and then it got windy.  Rock was 4.7 with a nice swell running and hitting the bars really nice.  Unfortunately Deb's boom end broke after just a few runs and ended her sesh too soon.  After the nice sesh at the Rock I went up to the cape to see if another sesh might be happening there but it looked like it was time to rig a beer.   

Yesterday was another 5-20 knot day at the cape with a few good waves.  I also went with the 5.2 on the 7'11" SUP board and caught a few more on it.  Greg was able to do a forward loop and ride a few.  Luke went out much later for an evening sesh.  Today looks like it might be 5.2 again.
